Jail Movie Review :
Madhur Bhandarkar`s Jail starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse, Manoj Bajpai, Arya Babbar and Chetan Pandit in the lead cast has hit the screens on November 6th 2009.
Jail is hard hitting story to digest. The Unique feature of this movie is that it focuses on the real life incidents, of the prisoners, behind the bars, that most of us are not aware of.
Jail a message to the society where Madhur Bhandarkar has always tried a different script and presented in an different way to the audience.
Parag Dixit character is played by Neil Nitin Mukesh who dreams about a great job, loving girlfriend and an affectionate family. Parage is religious too. His life is set as he planned with love, luxury and happiness. But one fateful evening his dreams collapse when his life takes an ugly turn with a series of unfortunate events that happens in his life.
Arya Babbar plays the character of Kabir Mallik who is of the same age of Parag and works for underworld inside the jail. Manoj Bajpai has acted as Nawaab who has been imprisoned for the past 10 years. Manish Mehta has acted as Joe D Souza who is a rich man`s son. Rahul Singh plays the character of Abdul Ghani who is married who is under trail in jail due to connection of underworld. Mugdha Godse plays the role of 'Maansi' the ladylove of Parag.
Parage happens to find himself in jail when his dreams collapse and he finds the salvation only in Nawaab, who believes that Parag is innocent. Parag happens to spend his life with broken hearts and crushed souls and shattered dreams.
At last, Parag realises that he has to either live in a life inside the jail or to control the exploitation by fighting against the system.
Jail movie is based on the prison life. It brings into light the real life of the prisoners that happens inside the jail. It is associated with real life incidents and also narrates a jail life drama. ‘Jail’ movie presents an ugly face of the truth & narrates about the inhuman conditions of the prisoners in the ‘jail’
